GENERAL SYNOPSIS- Altitude :Between the low over the north of Italy and the near Atlantic ridge, moderate to weak northerly flow over the Alps today. The flow is progressively becoming north-westerly, below 5500m in a first time, then at all levels in late afternoon. - Surface : The high pressures centred over the near Atlantic extend to France. Moderate northerly flow in the Rhône valley, weaker inside the Alps where the breeze effects could become predominating during the afternoon. More stable and drier air mass.
