GENERAL SYNOPSIS

- Altitude : Low centered over Northern France quasi-Stationary and slowly filling. Strong southwesterly flow persisting over the Alps.

- surface : Waving disturbance over the Alps this morning , leaving Saint-Auban around 1130 Local Time. The cold air behind the front is unstable under 2600 m. An occlusion turn around the low pressure of Northern France and will touch tha Alps North of Gap.

AIR MASS/DEVELOPMENT OF CONVECTION :

LOCAL ST-AUBAN : Unstable and moist from Surface up to 2600 m . Subsidence inversion from 2600 up to 3500 m , end of Aubenasson sounding.
3 to 5 Cu mediocris in the beginning of the afternoon , base around 1500 m becoming 2 to 4 Cu base around 2000 / 2200 m at 5 P. M.
